What this is01

A designer for an hour, not for a project.

Not every project needs a full design package. Sometimes you have most of it worked out and are stuck on one thing: whether the sofa should face the window, what to do with a wall of built-in cupboards you cannot remove, or whether the quote you have been given is reasonable.

Consultancy is bought by the hour and used however you like. A senior designer joins you on a video call, in English, looks at your plans and photographs, and answers the questions you actually have. There is no retainer, no minimum project size and no obligation to book anything afterwards.

Who it suits

People part-way through a renovation who need a second opinion before committing.

Interior Design Consultancy
from €85.00

Flexible hourly sessions with an experienced designer - get expert guidance on layouts, colours, lighting, or styling, anywhere in Europe.

How It Works

  1. Choose Your Hours – Book 1–10 hours, the more you book the cheaper it gets!

  2. Kick-off Call – We connect on video to review your floor plans, ideas, and challenges.

  3. Expert Guidance – We advise on layout, colours, lighting, or sourcing.

Worth knowingBefore you book

An hour is shorter than you think.

The difference between a session that solves something and one that skims four things is almost entirely preparation, and it takes about fifteen minutes to do.

Send a plan, however rough

Even a sketch with dimensions written on it. Without one, the first twenty minutes go on establishing what the room actually is rather than what to do with it.

Photograph the awkward bits

From opposite corners rather than the doorway, so your designer can see what is behind them too. The radiator in the wrong place is more useful than the tidy corner.

Name the budget

What you have spent and what is left. Advice given without a number attached is entertainment rather than help, and every recommendation changes once we know.

The thing most people get wrong

Almost everyone arrives with more than an hour's worth of questions, and the ones at the top get answered properly while the ones at the bottom get a sentence. So decide the order yourself beforehand rather than discovering it at forty minutes. If it turns out you have two hours of questions, buy two hours. Nobody has ever regretted that; plenty of people have regretted the opposite.

Not sure whether an hour is enough, or whether a full package would serve you better? Ask us first and we will tell you honestly, including when the answer is that you need less than you thought.
